The guide book contains actual medical photographs of common ear ailments such as otitis media (middle ear infections), swimmers ear, cerumen (wax),myringotomy (tube in ear drum), perforation of ear drum and other problems pertaining to the outer and middle ear.

Unlike other books of similar nature, the Home Care Guide Book uses endoscopic photographs for truer to life colors. Colors are most crucial when determining ear problems.

It's an in-expensive way to find out if ear-wax is causing problems for your hearing aid.  You can check inside of your hearing aid to see if it's stopped up with ear-wax or is full of moisture and use the cleaning tools that came with your hearing aid to clean it thereby prolonging the life of your hearing aid investment.
